                                                         Nathaniel Hawthorne

 Biography

 Nathaniel Hawthorne was born in Salem, Massachusetts on July 4, 1804; he studied in college Bowdin 1837 I collect stories told 2 times. He published his first work called Fanshawe giving many Puritan moral inspirations. In the city Plymouth, New Hampshire died in 1864.

Summary

The story relates to 5 people who have lost their things when they were young. Prominent in the story was Dr. Heiddger I wanted to experiment with Mr. Gascon, the sr. Medbourne, cornel Killigrew and the Widow Wycherly. Which contained water fountain of youth so that their friends use little water and could grow young at the time, they fail to change as a person and show that the doctor can not do and have a chance to SECON.

Story's Plot

Conflict: they wanted to obtain eternal youth.

Rising Action

ü  Dr. Heidgger organizes an invitation to his old friends.

ü  Dr. Heidgger release a dead rose in a book.

ü  The friends of the doctor took a lot of water.

ü  The rose begins to bloom.

ü  The four old friends rejuvenated.

ü  The rose is dead them again.

ü  The three young widows had conflicts.

·         Climax: The moment the doctor's friends return to age Dr. Heidgger  fails to learn the lesson. There is even a second chance and he was not conducted and will obtain the same mistakes them again.

·         Resolution: ignored the doctor's friends and decided to travel to Florida that wanted to drink plenty of water.

Description of characters

Physically, five characters were very old with wrinkles, had much in common and maybe the hair turned gray.

Psychologically: characterized by greedy people that had already lost everything, wanted to go back and do the same them again. Perhaps the change that Dr. Heidgger someone could come to believe and be young again, but the experiment was that people will not change even there is a second chance.

Story's Moral

 The moral of this story shows that one should enjoy life to the fullest and make the right decision for yourself and not lose life for things that are worthwhile. We must be who we are and what we see in front of us.

 Irony

The irony is when a person has the opportunity to start your life but will not because it will always be the same mistakes that I spotted in the past.

Opinion

 I like the story because it shows that life should be exploited to the fullest. Like the person will be the same and we can not always trust the same people. We must be what we are and not what we have ahead. In everyday life we must accept ourselves as we are. In addition to loving yourself to be so happy and satisfied.

Biography

 Started at 10 years old to write. She liked horses mixing both fiction as nonfiction plus a little history. The actor liked to write stories for children, youth and adults elizabeth had already received awards for his books and had performed more than 70 publications.

Summary

 Janey expected to bill for 2 months, when they met Janey begins to realize that is a boring and uninteresting and for a moment she thought it was a good idea no longer go out with him again. Then I hear a car janey would gather in the car bill looked a strange flying saucer on the road and had many branches of trees where our front and start to laugh comes the party and could not stand it and janey said you see something funny? and had her hair away a kind of bracelet and a third eye on his forehead.

Parts of the plot

Conflict: Conflict is janey's relationship with Bill that seeks to tell a bill that no longer want to see more as it is very boring.

ü  Bill has a weird sense of humor

ü  Bill communicates with foreign states as well.

ü  Bill dreamed of aliens.

·         Climax: janey is when no longer supports Bill and shows the true identity.

·         Resolution: It was when Bill was surprised when he saw a third eye in janey and tries to find out what happens next.

Characters

 Janey

Physically: she is attractive, has a third eye in front of what is foreign, young and long hair. Psychologically: You need to talk to someone like her because she is exhausted from the Bills, Bill is think a boring and uncomfortable to talk to strangers and enjoy games.

Bill

Physically: He was a bit of a silly expression, of medium size and with a look of an ordinary man.

Psychologically: loves his house and do not like going out to parties, has a strange behavior and a good imagination.

Irony

 Janey is tired of Bill that seems boring to her and Superior of the bill and can communicate with extraterrestrial and that's very ironic.

Opinion

I like the story as it relates to how fast events. Besides presenting the way in which many things can surprise us. But when someone close to you can give us a surprise like the way Bill was surprised to see an eye janey number three. As in the events of the coming of the flying saucer company gave to Bill. Despite its strange behavior had to be good manners at home and at parties

Biography

The Story tells of Alberta ,Emilio and Anastasio, what are brothers. Emilio and Bertha seek help for his brother fight the acknowledgment of their loss. Later he decided to sell their harvest and died because  of an accident. At the end Bertha and Emilio made a lovely funeral. Which could pay in the wake of the proceeds from the sale of their crop.

Analysis about history

Plot:  The man wants to have money to shop and compare rejects the cooperation of his brothersand  and finally get the money from his brothers and finally get the money which os used for his funeral after his death.

Conflict:  Anastacio wants to buy a store.

Rising Action:  All crops are lost to the weather, Emilio made a invitation to Anastacio home and harvest beans.

Climax:  He got the Money  ( 300 three hundred pesos).

Resolution: Emilio y Bertha paid the funeral with the money got of the sales (300 three hundred pesos).

Analysis about character  physical and psychological

Anastacio:  He was a person selfish , ambitious and inconsiderate.
Emilio: He was  a person good , poor and helpful.

History Teaching

The family comes first before everything. The money isn’t not everything just help get material things and not hapiness. Daily stages and we know that having a business is all. But where there is only money problems and sorrows. But our loved is paramount and that they are the gift of life.
